Hick has been playing bingo at the Senior Center again. He sent me a picture on Friday.
"Won bingo 3 times."
I'm not sure how Hick got four "prices" by winning three bingo games. I don't see a logical combination that might have been two of them being won as a pair. Let's hope that Hick did not strong-arm a prize away from some nodding-off, unsuspecting elderly!
Am I the only one picturing Hick with his arms spread around his loot, glancing wild-eyed around the room, lest a mob armed with plastic forks, pushing tennis-ball-footed walkers, approach and demand he stop playing after a daily win?
Hick has already delved into the Godivas. He tossed the tortilla chips onto a kitchen chair. Not sure where the blanket is, but he's been using the tissues for the cold he came down with on Friday.
My guess is that the tissues and blanket came together as a price to help with this year's winter colds. I can picture Hick with his arms tightly wrapped around his big winnings too:)
ReplyDeleteHeh, heh! I figured I wasn't the only one imagining Hick protecting his loot.
DeleteIt looks like he got into it with at least ONE of the Seniors as I see a ratty tennis ball ripped off one of their walkers back their behind his loot.
ReplyDeleteYeah, covered with shards from the glass they smashed over his head!
DeleteYou mean the cold he DENIED having! Just sneezes, that's all. He battles on, playing Bingo and winning all the prices!
ReplyDeleteHick won these prices on the day he came home with the sneezes! Maybe everyone else left the room to avoid contamination.
DeleteA phalanx of walkers pushed by denied elderlies could be intimidating.
ReplyDeleteEspecially if they were shaking their fist, hollering, "Stay out of my bingo game!"
DeleteTwo of the items are food so perhaps they were together as one prize. I don't think any of the seniors are going to try stopping him.
ReplyDeleteYeah, those elderlies will probably just mumble about Hick behind his back!
DeleteI think we'll use Hick's bag of festive red-and-green tortilla chips to make super nachos for supper on Thursday. I'll let him have his own candy.
