Hick's Streak Continues

Hick needs to buy a lottery ticket. Oh, wait! He DID last week, and won that $30 on a $1 ticket. Even though he bought 30 tickets, I still consider that a win.

You may recall that Hick also won $102 worth of lumber, and 10 one-pound packages of Oscar Mayer bacon in the table prize drawings at auctions last month.

Well, Hick has done it again! Saturday night, he sent me a picture of his latest table prize:

He won a 5-gallon jug! I don't know what it's called. Is that earthenware? All I know is that Hick has several smaller versions. But he says this is his first 5-gallong jug.

"I told my buddy when we sat down: 'If I win the table prize, I'm picking that jug!' And then I won it!"

"How much is that worth?"

"Probably between $75 and $150. They sold another one at the auction for $46. So me getting it for the dollar I paid for the table prize drawing is a pretty good bargain."

I think he's peaking too early, before our upcoming CasinoPalooza...

  1. That Hick has a nose for bargains and luck with drawings!

  2. Probably Earthenware although some might call it stoneware. Hick needs a cork for it unless he plans on letting it fill up with dust.

    1. I agree, it's well worth a $1. I doubt I would have picked it from the table drawing, and I don't even know what the other items were on the table.
