Hick's Nighttime Bingo Record Remains Intact

Shockingly enough, Hick did not win the grand prize at Wednesday night bingo. He didn't even send a picture of the "price." Said they didn't put it out until later. I guess his phone camera turns into Cinderella at a certain point...

Anyhoo... Hick reported that the grand prize was "a Nintendo." Don't know if that's currently a hot gaming system, or if it's something more modern, and he just equates it with a Nintendo. Said it was a square white gaming system. In a box, new, I am assuming.

Hick DID send a picture of his supper:

Not just two pretezels. It was an order of four. They look tasty enough, with that beer cheese dip. Hick said he had a late lunch, and the pretzels were all he wanted. Along with two beers...

So no winnings to report again this week. But the bingo keeps Hick off the streets and in a sports bar, so there's that...

  1. I think those pretzels and beer are worth the entertainment of playing Bingo even if not winning. Ha! They look pretty good.

    1. When the boys were young, we used to go to a St. Louis casino, and eat lunch at a diner there. Don't worry! The boys didn't go into the casino! We took turns staying in the game room with them.

Anyhoo... that diner had a giant pretzel with two dipping sauces. The beer cheese, and a grainy mustard sauce. Both equally delicious. That was always what I chose for my meal. So yes, the pretzels were worth sitting through bingo without winning!

  2. Enjoy your alone time! You can think of me, never alone and always scurrying to and fro as I take care of The Patient. Any day now he will purchase an electric wheelchair to navigate our tiny house!

  3. I don't think I've ever seen pretzels like that, are they just a bigger, softer version of the Italian breadsticks which are smaller and crispy?

    1. They're soft chewy pretzels. I don't know how else to describe them. They don't remind me at all of breadsticks. The 3 soft pretzels I get from Dairy Queen off the 2 for $5 menu are about half the length of these. Brushed with melted butter, so the salt will stick to them.
