Another Day, Another "Price" for Hick

I guess Hick gets tired of losing not-winning every Wednesday night at the sports bar bingo. He has been making it to the Senior Center in time to play bingo before lunch. Where the competition, as well as the "price," is weaker. He sent me a picture of his Wednesday lunch bingo winnings. Hick even called it by the correct name this time!!!

"My bingo prize today"

That one is empty. But I found out more about the discrepancy in his previous day's winnings of the mug full of candy, and the swag I saw on the kitchen table that he brought home. I asked before he left home at 5:45 a.m.

"Hey, you won a mug full of candy yesterday, but you brought home a BAG of candy. Where's the mug?"

"The mug? Oh. It's out in the truck."

"Then where did the bag of candy come from? Were you out trick-or-treating on the way home?"

"No. One of the lunch ladies gave them out."

"To EVERYONE?"

"Yes... to all of us."

"Huh. You hesitated. Are you sure it wasn't just to YOU? The PET?"

"No, Val. She gave them to all of us."

Is anyone else out there as skeptical as I am?

  1. Hick now has a couple of cute mugs and... maybe some candy to add to the inventory at his SUS2.

    1. Candy does not survive for resale! It is consumed by Hick without a thought of profit.

    1. Heh, heh! Until Val's interrogation begins! I asked Hick who took last week's picture of his Wednesday night bingo food, the Buffalo Wontons. He said HE did. I asked why his phone was on the table, and he was in the background. Hick declared that it was NOT his phone, and that it was his buddy in the background, saying that HE doesn't have an orange shirt. But funny how Hick's food (and the dipping sauce) was right in front of the buddy...

  3. Hick has the magic touch! Maybe we should call him the Mug Master!
