Imagine, If You Will, an Eerie Feeling of Being Watched...

Do you ever get that feeling like somebody is watching you?

And you take your attention off that discovery for a few seconds, and when you look back, you see that it's worse than you initially thought?

And then the situation seems to be getting out of control, so you take off running as fast as a non-runner can run, before all not-heaven breaks loose?

Yeah. Sometimes Val has that feeling, too.

    1. I would like to say they love you back. But mostly, these cats love jumping up on the warm hood of T-Hoe and leaving scratch marks and many footprints on his black paint, eating, meowing loudly for no reason, and avoiding our touch.

    1. They follow no one. Not then. Not now. I'll tell their story next post.

    1. I know, right? I might as well have a picture of a dog in a rain slicker hanging on the wall, with eyes that follow my movements.

  4. Those cats must love you... otherwise, they wouldn't bother to keep an eye (or four) on you.

    1. Excuse me, Madam, but the Off-Duty Science Teacher Act of 2016 requires that I inform you of the following scientific facts. Felines are critters that exhibit bilateral symmetry. That means you can divide them down the middle (don't try this at home!) and get two mirrored halves. Each cat has two eyes. There are three cats in the last picture.

      SIX eyes, Madam. SIX eyes.

    2. Sorry. I thought that cream-colored head was part of freakish feline... You know, a cat with a second head jutting out of its lower chest.

  5. I'm thinking there might be a population explosion in your neck of the woods. Watch out, you are being watched indeed.

    1. The population won't explode from these cats. They all had their very special operations. One of them still holds a grudge.

    1. Yes, but my very favorite, from the up-top photo that's been there forever, was CATnapped by a neighbor. So sayeth Hick. He didn't like her much. But I don't think he would take her to "live out the rest of her days on a big farm." Because WE have a big farm.

Of course I'm talking about my cat. Not about that neighbor.

  7. Our cat thinks he is a dog, although a very superior one. He lies in wait to scare the other dogs.

    1. Your cat is also named Mr. Martha. He seems to be a master of disguise.
