A Day Late and an Even Steven Start

I was happy to spend Monday night in an Oklahoma casino. You know. To break up a 10-hour drive seeing off The Pony on his way back to college. Oh, yeah. And...it was a CASINO. I'd have been fine if we didn't venture out to other casinos nearby. As it was, I lost my shirt and both socks and a shoe. Don't worry. The ample rumpus was covered. I still brought more money back home than I lost.

Anyhoo...one of our stops coming home is the Casey's in Steelville, Missouri. They have clean bathrooms, you know. And Hick likes to refuel there. Oh, yeah. He likes to refuel A-Cad, too. But mainly, he enjoys a donut.

Of course I get scratchers. The Pony and I had each won $10 on the way out to Oklahoma. So I cashed in my ticket for more on the way home.

Looks like Even Steven was feeling guilty over my casino bankroll. I saw that a new ticket had come out without my knowledge, and took a chance on it. That's a $100 winner! I matched every number, but felt a little cheated that my only multipliers were 1X. That's not even multiplying!

Anyhoo...I'm not complaining. About my winning ticket, anyway...

  1. I got a X20 multiplier, but the prize was o!

  2. I wouldn't be complaining about a $100 winner either.
I totalled up the amount I would normally spend on lottery draw tickets and donated that amount to the Red Cross for the fire relief instead.

    1. I have a little better-than-average luck. Kind of like my bingo-winning grandma. In the long run, I just about break even, between scratchers and casinos.

    1. Heh, heh! I am "comfortable." I have enough of a bankroll that sometimes I don't worry about high-rolling. Easy come, easy go. It's my entertainment budget.
