Last Monday we went to the casino. It had been a whole month! Don't you worry about Val. She didn't forget how to play the slots! Or how to eat! No food pictures this time, except for Hick's coconut cream pie.
It's not the prettiest pie in the world, but it was the prettiest pie in the cold case. They only had two kinds. Apple and coconut creme. Hick chose this over the apple pie, so you can imagine what IT looked like! If I didn't know better, I might presume the workers had been playing kickball with the pie containers!
There were no food specials. In fact, they were out of the pulled pork special. Hick got his usual burger with fries, I got the catfish nuggets with tater tots, and The Pony had a hot dog and fries. There was only one other customer eating at that time, a lone man who didn't sit next to us like a creeper.
We should have left right after lunch, because all of us saw our profits dwindle the longer we played. However... I had one bit of good luck on the Wonder 4 Tall Fortunes, with Miss Kitty.
This is while the bonus is adding up, the fake coins flying. I just wanted to show that I made it to the tippy-top of the tower! I've never done that before with Miss Kitty. I was down to $2.94 when the bonus hit. Betting $2.40 a spin, which is 60 cents per game on the Wonder 4.
Seriously, Miss Kitty? Would it have made you hack up a hairball to give me an extra four cents, and make that jackpot an even $300.00? That's not all clear profit, since you have to spend money to make money! This screen full of kitties was a little bit disconcerting. Those big-eyed cats MEOW during the bonus, and they BLINK THEIR BIG EYES. So many of them doing it all together was weird.
The Pony had to take the pictures for me, because my phone had an issue. That's a story for another day.
Hick was the biggest winner, then The Pony, then me. Not that I'm complaining! I left with a tidy sum. Besides, in the seven days since we went to the casino, I've had THREE scratchers that won $100. Here's the latest, from Sunday:
I got the 20X symbol, and a $5 prize under it. So that's $100 for me! I think I'll keep playing. One thing's for sure. Streaks always come to an end, whether they're winning OR losing!
The biggest winner between Mrs. C and me is the one who loses the least.
ReplyDeleteWe've had those days, too! All 3 of us on the loosing end. The ride home is not much fun.
DeleteI don't mind losing my casino bankroll as much as Hick and The Pony do. I walk in with the mindset that I could be walking out with nothing. They are eternal optimists, always planning to win. So I guess being a pessimist is good for a gambler!
My streaks tend to come to an end far quicker than yours do. The meowing kitties would make me stay away from that one in future.
ReplyDeleteMy $100 scratcher streak might be ending. Today I only won $13.
DeleteI DO have to turn the sound way down when I play Miss Kitty! And try not to look them in their giant blinking eyes.
You are really on a roll. Let's hope it continues.
ReplyDeleteIt was a profitable 7 days, but I'm expecting a losing streak any day. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully a hundred dollar winner!
DeleteWell, we all know I have no patience with slots and I do not have a poker face. I would spend my time examining things to repurpose.
ReplyDeleteNot too long ago, Hick was ready to repurpose his empty pie container into a see-through leftover-toting man-purse!
